Les Salines ***, our campsite in Saint Hilaire de Riez in the Vendée, is just a stone's throw from the sea... we are located 800 metres from the beach, and to get there, nothing could be more pleasant than walking along a path surrounded by a pine forest and arriving facing the sea, all right in front of the campsite!
A beach with fine sand and on the horizon you can see the outline of Ille d'Yeu!
You also have access to many beaches by the embankment of Saint Hilaire de Riez and Saint Jean de Monts, the corniche of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie or by other accesses all along the cycle track not far from the campsite.
A beach dedicated to nudists is also accessible at about 1km from the campsite!
The sun, the warm sand, the coloured parasols, the smell of sun cream and the sea, no doubt it smells like holidays!
